This installation by the Berlin-based artists combines the concreteness of language and formalised typeface with the abstraction of coloured and luminescent lines.

In colourful circles of text, fundamental questions are juxtaposed in opposition to the contents established in constitutional law.

Art. 3 of the German constitution is based on “equality before the law”. But is equality self-evident? Or is the call for equality only necessary because inequality exists?

The light installation at the regional appeal court in Hamm enables visitors to examine topical issues and points out location-specific associations that will convey different perspectives and impressions depending on where visitors stand.
