A chestnut tree overhanging the water bears hundreds of mirror chains like a second set of leaves. The mirrors’ permanent motion makes the tree glimmer. The mirrors reflect the surroundings, multiply the daylight and artificial light; the tree shimmers and beams, is reflected by the water in turn, an artistic solution which in its staggering simplicity simultaneously harbours complexity and depth.
