“Nachtflug” is a balance system, which reacts to wind and gravitational energy. Two wings made out of tilted aluminium sheets about 3 metres long are mounted on a mast and – beamed on by ground spotlights – become reflecting luminaries at night. Thus, in the dark, the impression arises that a giant white bird, reflected on the water, is heading towards an unknown destination.
