The work “Schilfrohre” by Dresden-based artist Sebastian Hempel is located at the Lippstadt marina and hence in direct proximity to the artworks “Arche” and “abseite”: in the middle of the Lippe, 18 reeds gleam, moving and casting their reflection on the surface of water with the aid of the current and a motor. The artistic theme of the Light Promenade, the conjunction of light and water, is also very picturesquely taken up in this artwork.
